Movie night for the launch of 'TRG RISE with Pride'

An Inclusive and Supportive Workplace for all

TRG RISE with Pride is TRG Screen's LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group (ERG). Our goal is to unite and foster an inclusive and supportive workplace for all employees regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. Our mission is to create an environment that celebrates diversity, champions equality, and advocates for the rights of LGBTQIA+ individuals.  

'TRG RISE with Pride' is part of the wider TRG RISE (Reach, Inspire, Support, Empower) initiative, which also includes the 'TRG RISE Women's network' and the 'RISE together wellness program', all working towards creating an inclusive and supportive workplace environment.

Launch Night at the Movies 🍿🎬

As part of our ERG's mission to create a welcoming environment for LGBTQIA+ employees at TRG Screen and educate others about LGBTQIA+ experiences, it was only fitting that our launch event coincided with LGBT history month.

The event featured a movie screening that aligned perfectly with our theme, showcasing the powerful film Pride (2014), while enjoying some pizza, popcorn and drinks together.

Before kicking off the movie,  Jack Kyle, Associate Developer at TRG Screen and TRG RISE with Pride committee member took to the floor to share some opening words:

‘I feel really proud to be part of the creation of the TRG RISE with Pride ESG. Our aim is to make employees feel welcome at TRG Screen and to teach everyone about LGBTQIA+ experiences. Being part of RISE with Pride means so much to me as I’ve been made to feel so at home working at TRG Screen with kind and accepting colleagues. I want to be able to help other LGBTQIA+ people to feel the same, by showing that this is a place where they can be themselves and have no worry about any discrimination.'

Jack expressed his gratitude to the TRG RISE with Pride committee for organizing and everyone who came along to the event. He highlighted the importance of creating a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ employees at TRG Screen. Jack's words set the tone for a successful evening of education, entertainment, and celebration of diversity within TRG Screen.
