Innovating Together: Reflections on TRG Screen’s December User Group

Reflections on TRG Screen’s December User Group

Connecting across the globe

Earlier this month, nearly 200 members of our user community joined our financial services virtual User Group, marking an important milestone as we trialed a new all-virtual format to bring together our clients and solution experts from multiple countries. The session highlighted progress we’ve made since spring user group events in New York, London and Amsterdam in areas of technical integrations, automation and more.

More importantly, it was chance to show exactly how client input shaped our work over the course of the year and what we’re doing to support their evolving business needs.

For attendees, the gathering offered an exclusive look at advancements across our solutions in 2024, where we’re headed, and how user feedback is shaping our journey.  With 11 product leaders representing five service and solution areas, the updates spanned key themes driving our product roadmap:

  • Harnessing AI across our suite to drive greater efficiency, deeper insights and enhanced automations. We showcased our AI proofs-of-concept to demonstrate the great strides we’ve made in adopting more advanced tech while addressing in a practical way the most commonly relevant use cases to drive value for as many clients as possible. These will be optional features in 2025 releases, and we look forward to sharing details as we move them through our product development cycle.
  • Combining spending and usage data in an unprecedented way. As the first company in the industry to bring these together in a single product suite, attendees got a close look at why looking at just utilization alone can yield powerful cost savings, why the combination of spending and usage together is so powerful, and how it will help them unlock even more savings and efficiency and improve ROI in one of their biggest operating expenses.
  • Evolved user experience designs. Modernized interfaces and more streamlined, more intuitive functionality across the suite of TRG Screen solutions will make our technology even faster and easier for all users to adopt and navigate quickly and efficiently.
  • Our approach to user-centered product design and how clients can get involved. For each solution, clients learned where we’re seeking input on current and future solution design and how they can take part in programs like early-stage solution concepting and beta testing of new products or enhancements.

Live polls during the event also provided additional insight into customer practices and priorities and gave participants a chance to do informal benchmarking against peers.

Celebrating other 2024 milestones

The event also gave a moment for our CEO, Leigh Walters, to reflect on a transformative year for TRG Screen, such as the expansion of our team with new talent across managed services, customer experience, product development and technology, as well as our new Global Capability Center in Bangalore, India, which scales our ability to deliver excellence in support and managed services to clients in all time zones. He also shared that we welcomed dozens of new clients—a reflection of the challenges businesses are facing—and our gratitude for the trust they place in our ability to help solve them.

Looking ahead to 2025

We’re excited to continue growing our community with more user groups across different regions and time zones, including a February user group we’re planning for Singapore Standard Time Zone (SST).

And whether you’re a TRG Screen customer or not, I encourage you to take advantage of events like these hosted by vendors and partners. Whether in person or remote, they’re extremely valuable in ensuring you get the biggest return for your business and that your partners like TRG Screen are evolving to better serve you as needs change. Your voice matters, and user groups are an ideal forum for sharing your feedback and ideas.

Cheers to a great 2024 and to an even more promising 2025!
